G.A.K.™ JR

God's Anointed Kids

“According to studies, 43% of Americans receive Jesus as Savior before age 13.”

The mission of G.A.K.™ is to raise healthy, spiritual hearts in an atmosphere of love.  We want your child to grow not only physically, but in every way that God desires.

In G.A.K.™ we believe that learning should be fun, so we have created our own dramas, songs, and activities.  This results in Bible lessons that are age appropriate, interactive, and relevant to today’s children.  We invite you and your child to any service so you can experience our commitment to working with every family to lay a spiritual foundation on which your children can build their lives.

Come expecting, and God will touch your child’s life and show you that your child is one of GOD’S ANOINTED KIDS!

Baby G.A.K.™

Ages 0-2

We love babies at CITS!  In BABY G.A.K.™ your child will be well cared for in a clean, safe environment.  All our caregivers provide a loving, nurturing atmosphere for your infant or toddler.

We believe that children are a gift, and encourage all parents to raise their children in the training and instruction of the Lord. (Ephesians 6:4)

Every child is special in BABY G.A.K.™  We desire to be a blessing to parents as they attend our worship services.

G.A.K.™ Jr.

Ages 3-5

Pre-schoolers love G.A.K.™ Jr.!  Your child will not only learn a new Bible lesson each week, but will have a blast playing with other kids in G.A.K.™ Jr.

The lessons are reinforced with crafts, praise time, and a snack.  It is our goal to love children as Jesus did!  (Matthew 19:4)

Our teachers are trained to provide your children with a fun and secure environment as they start their walk with God.

VOLUNTEERS

Church In The Son’s Early Childhood Department; Baby GAK and GAK Jr. is more than just childcare. We are here to assist families as they develop their children spiritually, and ultimately make an impact on the world for Christ.

Baby GAK and GAK Jr. is comprised solely of those who are willing to give of their time in ministry to the youngest members of our church. Baby GAK, ages birth through 2 years of age, is looking for volunteers who love babies and know the importance of the care these little ones require. GAK Jr., ages 3-5, needs a variety of workers. If you love to teach pre-schoolers, want to help out with craft time, snack time, or praise time, then GAK Jr. is the perfect ministry for you.

We love our children at Church In The Son, and want to provide the safest, most secure environment that we possibly can. Therefore, all volunteers must submit an application which can be picked up in the GAK lobby or downloaded from this web site, and a background check is run on all adult applicants. Please return your completed application to Monica Brooks, Early Childhood Director.

Volunteer schedules are managed through a program called Shifboard. As soon as your application has processed, you will receive an e-mail from Shifboard with log-in directions.
