Safe Stuff
At GAK safety is top priority. It is our priority to make every reasonable effort to ensure a safe and healthy environment for every child in our care. To do this, we perform a background check on all of our GAK volunteers. We also have a security system in place for all of our services.
Check-In Process
Because we care about the safety and security of every child at Church In The Son, all children must check in before going in to their respective classes. Elementary kids going to GAK may check themselves in at any of the kiosks located in the lobby of GAK, and must have their name badge to enter.
If you are a first-time guest, just go to the Check In desk in the GAK lobby and a GAK volunteer will be happy to help you register your child and show you where your child will be during the service.
At the end of service, we ask that all children be picked up by their legal guardian. We will give the child their GAK guide, a treat, and a hand stamp. This is our way of telling you that we saw your child leave with you. For their safety, we do not release children from our services without an adult.
Every GAK volunteer can be easily identified by the name tag they wear. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to approach one of them on Sunday or Wednesday. We are here to help.
You can download a family information form here and present to the the G.A.K. check in desk in the G.A.K. Lobby to speed up your registration.

Visitors
All adult visitors to GAK must sign in and receive a name badge to be in the service. We love your children and need to know who all the “big” people are in the room.
