NEW BEGINNINGS
About Us
NEW BEGINNINGS is comprised of volunteers doing our Father’s work reaching out to those whose eyes have been closed as to who God really is, what He has done for us, and why He did it. He is our loving Father who wants to mend the broken hearted, set the captive free, and provide physical and spiritual healing.

They need someone to point them in a new direction, bringing new hope that there is a better life for them. Without this connection they go back to their present living conditions, to the same old nature of serving the world. The ministry’s goal is to reach out to those who are lost, lowly, battered and abused; making ourselves available to help them in any way we can. New Beginnings is about encouragement to go in a positive and new direction in life.
Our Vision
To touch Central Florida and beyond with the love of Jesus Christ, and to offer the lost, lonely, and indigent men, women, and children in our area an opportunity for a positive change in life. We want to accomplish this vision by offering:
- Living quarters for the homeless
- Food and nutrition
- Medical mobile unit
- Physical and spiritual education
Our Mission
- Acquire and open homes throughout our community to house the homeless
- Take food to the indigent who are not otherwise eligible for food stamps or do not receive enough food stamps to sustain them.
- Basic medical and dental care
- Health care education
- Information on preventive tools and methods
- Referrals to health department or other available facilities
- Referrals to appropriate social services
- Referrals to other available community resources
- Last but not least, moral support; spiritual, emotional, and physical
- Budgeting
- Nutrition and health care
- Prayer and encouragement
- GED
- Career goals
- Job preparation
Our Values
Our belief and hope is in God who sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins, so that we may be free. We believe in the Trinity as one, and through salvation we have been given the power of the Holy Spirit to do God’s work as we follow God’s living word, the Holy Bible.

Weekend With The King
A planned weekend where a group of 10 or 12 individuals are treated to a wonderful weekend at a lovely vacation home located in Central Florida where the guests receive the love of God and His Word.
The Road to Freedom
Connecting men, women, and children with support groups, helps ministries, churches, and other avenues of encouragement. Each area is precisely chosen to assist with each individual’s situation.
Support Us
Funds are needed to provide the necessary supplies for outreach throughout our community. Therefore, the ministry conducts fundraising events throughout the year. Proceeds from these events are used toward the operation of this ministry, such as the Venus Martinez Home for Women.
This home is dedicated to the memory of Venus Martinez, a mother of twin boys, who loved the Lord but was controlled by the world, and lived on the streets of Orlando. In July of 2007 Venus was brutally murdered near the area where she slept on the streets of Orlando.
The Venus Martinez Home for Women was officially opened June 23, 2009, just one day before what would have been Venus’ 36th birthday.
