Woven was birthed with one desire: To provide women with the opportunity to come together as sisters to worship God, to identify with one another, to teach one another, to learn from one another, and to serve one another. Simply stated, it is our desire to see women knit together into a tapestry of love.
Woven is not limited to any one particular group of women. Rather, it encompasses ladies from all walks of life. Whether you are a young adult, a single mom, a working professional, a stay at home mom, a grandmother, a widow, or a single woman, this ministry is for you. We are a sisterhood . . . period. So join us - we are in this together!
Our goal is that His love shines through our lives as wives, mothers, friends, sisters, workers, and daughters. It is our heart’s desire that Jesus be glorified by what we say, what we do, and who we are.
PURPOSE OF WOVEN
We long to offer opportunities where you can escape the cares of this world and fall in love with the lover of your soul. God loves you with an everlasting love. It is in times of intimacy with Him that we are filled to overflowing and ready to tackle whatever comes our way.
Let’s face it, it’s not always easy to love people, but it’s not impossible! As women, we have the innate ability to love deeply. Woven offers opportunities where you can love others through your natural gifts. Whether it is throughserving in the office, taking a meal to a new mom or busy family, participating in caring for the youngest members of our church family, or even mentoring other women through a small group, it is our desire that you fulfill that God-given ability in you to love and nurture others deeply.
Can you see it? Can you see a community of God-loving women who are woven together into this breathtaking tapestry of love…changing their world with acts of kindness? We desire to reach other women that do not know Jesus and introduce Him to them. Together we can do it! We can change our world one step at a time; first our neighborhoods, then our city, our country, and our world!
A WORD FROM JUDITH:
I am thrilled to have the opportunity to get closer to you through this ministry to women from all walks of life and all stages of life. The Lord birthed Woven in my heart while spending time with Him meditating on the scripture found in Colossians 2:2 which reads, “I want you woven into a tapestry of love, in touch with everything there is to know of God. Then you will have minds confident and at rest, focused on Christ, God's great mystery.”
It is my desire for every woman at Church in the Son to possess a deep and abiding love for God, to be grounded in His Word, and to understand God’s amazing plan when He created us. As women, we have been created to reflect His image in a distinctly feminine way. My heart in providing this ministry is to offer you the opportunity to use your God-designed gifts in loving and serving others in your home, church family, and in your community.
